I was born and raised in Southern California.

I have six children (they range in age from 8-50 years old).

The “Littles” were adopted from the foster care system.

I also have 7 grandchildren.

My family has lived in the suburbs of Los Angeles, on an island in the Atlantic Ocean, on the beach and in the mountains of California.

I currently live in the desert of Arizona.

My Mother was an arts and craft teacher for our local adult school,  and I was always the guinea pig for all the newest ideas. I learned to hand sew at 5 years old and was designing clothes by 14 years old.

I have taken several art classes, including acrylic, watercolor, mixed media & encaustic.

I have shown my art in galleries and at shows,

in Las Vegas, Phoenix and California.

One of my mixed media pieces hangs in the

Liberace Mansion in Las Vegas in the owner’s private apartment.  I’ve also had the privilege to show my art in Wayne Newton’s private home.

Several of my originals, hang in collections in

Florida, Colorado, Nevada, California and Arizona.

I enjoy teaching and hold several workshops for adults' & children. The workshops include, paper making, book binding, whimsical flowers drawing, collage, painting, mixed media & children's workshops.

Gallery showings , First Fridays and Art Shows are always on my list of fun events and I have won several awards over the years.

As I create, I pray; for those I love, for those that see

what I create and those who purchase.

I love texture, from fabric, yarn, paper, wood, and paint;

which brought me to encaustics, re-purposed clothes and needle felting.

I enjoy seeing where my art and designs will take me.

I see beauty in all of nature; from a rusty nail; to a stack of pipe on the back of a truck; to a beautiful tree.

Shape, color and texture inspire me to create my dreams.
